One of just two homes designed by Otto Stark, the commercial architect behind Chicago’s iconic Blue Cross Blue Shield building. (The second home was Stark’s own.) While maintaining its original envelope, we reconfigured the floor plan of this midcentury gem for modern functionality. Hand-carved entry doors from Spain - acquired for the home by Stark himself - found new life as a master bath vanity and a living room cabinet.
